Ciao from Venezia!

Okay. This place is remarkable. Period. No cars, no roads, just water and beauty. I got into the island by train and walked off to a city built of canals and narrow paths. This is so different than what I expected, but in a good way of course. I'm excited to explore tomorrow.

Also, random but awesome note: I met some believers today and fellowshiped for like three hours! Praise the Lord! Alright, its like 1:38am here so I'm gonna hit the sack. Nighty night!

I got off the train this morning at 9:30 in Zurich Switzerland. It was an 11 hour ride from Berlin. I think I may have slept about 4 hours total the whole way and for some odd reason I actually felt well rested. I wondered around the central train station trying to find my way around. I was looking for a locker to be exact. I needed somewhere to put my honken back pack, so, I went to the information desk and they gladly pointed me in the right direction and said they are anywhere from CHF3-10. Franks that is, and since I am coming from Berlin, you would know that the only thing in my pocket is Euros. So I had to get my money exchanged as well. After stowing away my pack I took off for the city. I strolled down a few streets just amazed. This place is so unique. I have never seen anywhere like it. The only other city that I could compare it looking like would be venice. The streets are narrow and the architecture is phenomenal! I'm spending the night here in a hostel and will leave for Venice tomorrow morning/afternoon.

I can honestly say that Berlin is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. The past couple of days, I have spent times going to old cathedrals, casltes and many of Berlins greatest restaurants. Tomorrow, I will be going to the famous Charlie Gate where the nazi sodiers held the jews from crossing until the war ended as well as a concentration camp which is on the western side of Berlin. After that its tschüs to Berlin and Hello to Zürich Switzerland.

I made it to Berlin this after noon at 1230. It was definitely an interesting night! lol. im very tired from everything so i think i am going to head to bed soon. berlin is beautiful and full of awesome things to do! i can't wait to go out and explore more tomorrow! I will be writing more exciting post in the near futute. I am just terribly exhausted at the moment. Talk to you later! And as they say in berlin, tschüss!

Right now, I'm sitting in the cities about to take the light rail to the air port. I can't even say how excited I am! I couldn't sleep much last night because of it. When I get there, it will be the second of June because of the time difference. I am going to be meeting up with a friend who was a foreign exchange student in Moorhead a couple years back. We'll be crashing at his aunts house for a few nights. Can't wait to write more! 24 hours from now, I'll be stepping off the plane. Wish me luck!

I'm in Moorhead at the moment just counting down the days. I leave from here to Minneapolis on Monday and board the plane in route to Berlin Germany on Tuesday at 1pm. I honestly can't wait. I'll try my best to keep blogging as often as possible, however, internet access may be limited. I hope my words inspire you to travel! A world unknown is a world to explore!
